Los Angeles Abrasion Machine
Los Angeles abrasion test on aggregates is the measure of aggregate toughness and abrasion resistance such as crushing, degradation and disintegration. Resistance to Degradation of Small-Size Coarse Aggregate by Abrasion and Impact in the Los Angeles Machine. The aggregate used in surface course of the highway pavements are subjected to wearing due to movement of traffic.

Deval Abrasion Machine
The Devals Abrasion Testing Machine is used to determine the aggregate abrasion value of coarse aggregates as described in IS: 2386 (Part 4). The machine consists of two hollow cylinders, closed at one end and provided with tight fitting covers at the other end, mounted on a shaft at an angle of 30° to the axis of rotation. The shaft rotates at 30-33 r.p.m. through a reduction gearbox, coupled to a motor. Supplied complete with a revolution counter but without abrasive charge.

Automatic Ductility machine
The Ductility Testing Machine used for determining the ductility of bituminous materials by measuring the elongation of briquette mold with molten bitumen in it which is pulled apart at a specified speed and a specified temperature.

Marshall Stability Apparatus
Marshall stability test is the performance prediction measure conducted on the bituminous mix. The procedure consists of determination of properties of mix, Marshall stability and flow analysis and finally determination of optimum bitumen content.

Bitumen Mixer
Polymer Modified Bitumen Mixer is used to mix different type of polymer dopes with bitumen homogeneously at proper temperature. Mixer provides perfect mixtures by means of its special disintegrator head which operates at 6000-8000 r.p.m. Heat loss is kept at minimum level by a thermal isolation vessel.
