In the Indian Geotechnical Conference (IGC 2023) held in IIT Roorkee during 14-16 December 2023, faculty and students of SCEnE IIT Mandi interacted with experts and presented their research outcomes.

Dr. Venkata Uday Kala, Associate Professor, SCEnE, IIT Mandi, delivered an invited theme lecture on "Non-structural Landslide mitigation measures: Schemes, Applications and Case studies."

We are also delighted to share that our PhD scholar, Ms Charu Chauhan, received the 2nd Best Paper award for her presentation on "Experimental Evaluation of Permeability in Soil vis-à-vis Transpiration of Plants with Different Root Types" under the Geoenvironmental Engineering theme.
