Description

We are happy to share that our research group is participating in the Indian Arctic Expedition 2023-24 for a project sponsored by NCPOR, MoES to investigate climate forcing aerosols in the Arctic. Mr Prashant Rawat, a PhD student under Dr Sayanatan Sarkar, is currently visiting the Arctic for a month. This is the second time that students from Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Change group are participating in the Expedition, the first one being in 2019.

This is also the first time the campaign is being held during the polar night. Recent coverage by Indian Express on the Indian Team's winter campaign.
